The lightweight and packable Raptor Pant is a fully seam-taped hardshell that maintains your agility in adverse conditions. Made with Polartec’s highly aerobic Neoshell fabric, the Raptor lets you move beyond the compromise traditionally imposed by hardshells between weight, breathability and waterproofness.

Streamlined and versatile, the Raptor Pant is a highly breathable hardshell that will earn its place in even the most crowded of packs. Flexible enough to be worn as an overpant or as a stand-alone shell with or without baselayers, the Raptor Pant was built to help you adapt and overcome without weighing you down.

Two zippered thigh pockets provide accessible and ergonomic storage even when seated. Generous boot entry zippers helps you don them as overpants quickly when inclement weather strikes. Dual-position cuffs accommodate heavy boots or blousing inside gaiters, and an integrated no-bulk belt helps tailor the fit to your layers as the mercury shifts.

Built to excel in both inclement weather and calmer conditions, Polartec® Neoshell® is an engineering breakthrough for waterproof breathable fabric technologies. The fabric’s highly aerobic air permeability functions as a durable, protective shell with advanced wicking capabilities to keep moisture vapor moving away from your core.

Accessible Storage

Two inset zippered cargo pockets provide secure, ambidextrous storage. A zipper on the lower leg aids in donning and doffing the pants over boots. Cuffs with two position snaps allows the Raptor Pant to easily fit over heavy boots or be bloused inside gaiters.

Neoshell Care

To preserve the life of your shell, TAD recommend using spot cleanings with a damp cloth to wipe away dirt and stains. If machine washing is necessary, machine wash cold without the use of bleach or other fabric softeners to avoid interfering with the garment’s water resistance, and use an additional rinse cycle to remove any lingering chemicals that clog the pores of the membrane. Unless the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment needs a replenishment, TAD suggest drip drying.
