However, LED technology has progressed so far this kind of lighting wizardry is now a reality. Manker’s U12 features a stunning cool white LED which, in combination with the 2000 lumen output and orange peel reflector makes for a lighting tool that should not be underestimated. Factor in the aerospace grade aluminium build quality and you have a quite exceptional little flashlight.

It is charged via an external USB charging port and the button will glow blue when the flashlight is fully charged and purple to red when the battery is getting flat.
